I am a Microbial Molecular Biologist and Metabolic Engineer driven by a passion for frugal innovation—developing low-cost, high-impact solutions through the synergy of science, minimalism, and engineering. With a strong foundation in microbial genetics and metabolic pathway engineering, my work is centered around real-world applications in biofuels, biocatalysis, and sustainable bioprocesses.
Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in School of Energy Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, under the mentorship of Prof. V.S. Moholkar. My research is focused on solving the global bioenergy crisis by enhancing enzymatic efficiency for biomass conversion, using advanced tools of genetic engineering, recombinant DNA technology and process intensification using ultrasound (ultrasonication).
